I’m looking for 6 blog writers (in Bahasa Indonesia) for a tech-related blog which is now built from ground up. Site references are www.techeblog.com or www.engadget.com
Categories of topic to write are:
1. Tech related news/articles
2. Cool gadgets
3. Mobile
4. Cool web enterprises in Indonesia
All blog entries will be credited back to you as the original writer. I’m looking at a long-term partnership with the blog writer and hope to create great buzz about the blog.
Sometimes, I will give you ideas about the blog posts, but most of the time I will give you the freedom to choose your own ideas. So that should make your life a lot of easier.
Blog post requirements:
1. Write any of the above topics in your own voice and writing style
2. Include at least 1 relevant photo or image or picture to get your message across. Each blog post has to come with a picture as a break to your writings.
3. You will be writing in Bahasa Indonesia. As most info can be found on the net, research work should be very minimal – you only need to summarise in Bahasa Indonesia.
4. Blog post is no longer than 300 words thereabout – so this should be pretty fast to write.
5. Each writer is to contribute 6 posts a week. You can even write in advance for all the 6 posts since Wordpress has future-posting features. So if you are in the writing zone, you can even finish a week of posts in a day. If you are hired, I will give you a user access to the Wordpress blog so you can save the post in draft before I publish it.
6. Include any reference or source links in the blog post
7. There must be 1 or 2 posts per week that writes about the topics specific to Indonesia eg. New launching of vivanews.com, reference on inilah.com, where detik.com is heading compared to competitors, where Web 2.0 is heading for Indonesia, a Story column on rising stars of Indonesia etc.
Who are we looking for:
1. You love writing and have a pleasant writing style. I’m not restricting any writing styles since the blog will be maintained by several contributors. You can have writing styles like Wicaksono – www.ndorokakung.com, or Sarah – www.buanadara.wordpress.com or Roni Yuzirman – www.roniyuzirman.com or your own. Most importantly, it’s your own unique writing style preferably fresh, and in casual lingos and local slangs like: “coy, cing, lebay, etc …”
2. You have passions in tech-related news, gadgets and its development in our beloved country Indonesia.
3. You wear thick black-white plastic spectacle *just kidding*
4. Ideally, you’re still schooling or are just in need of extra pocket money to help you on whatever it is you’re working on ;)
5. Knowledge of Wordpress and blog writing is an advantage, but not mandatory.
6. Bonus will be given to those with SEO knowledge and how we can create a buzz about the blog.

1. Price per blog post (remember it’s approx. 300-word per post, with lots of freedom given to you on blog ideas)
2. How many posts can you commit in a week
3. Please send me your portfolio of blog writings in Bahasa Indonesia (preferably in the above topic areas) but if you don’t have, it’s ok. I welcome newbies and young aspiring writers.
4. If you have a Wordpress blogging experience, please also share some links to your work. If you don’t have it, that’s ok.
5. Please write all that in Bahasa Indonesia
